Pastel Portraits

These portraits are painted just under life-size, on a quality, acid free, artist's pastel paper.

They can be rolled in a tube (for postage), or I can assist with framing (pastels should be mounted under acid free museumboard and framed behind glass).

Normally at least two sittings are required for small pastel portraits. Please allow one month for a small pastel portrait to be completed.

Pastel head and shoulders from £1,200 unframed.

Portraits in Oil

Portraits in oil are painted on canvas or board. They may require from one sitting for an oil sketch to six sittings for a detailed portrait when done from life, depending on complexity, detail and size. Please allow longer to complete than for pastels.

If possible I prefer to work from life.
